Like the village smithy, I am called upon to serve in many ways: an ancient box lock needs a set of keys, an old faucet requires a new stem and seat, or a machine must be built to perform a certain task. My real passion is my gunwork; in this pursuit, I feel very connected to our past, to our history, and the tools and skills of the day. The craftsman from three centuries ago is my brother; the work of our hands is our lineage. Please explore my work through these pages, and contact me if you have questions. info@tcurran.com |

Follow along as I create a German Jaeger Rifle. A full blown fancy jaeger, a 1750's Rhine Valley gun, is my current work in progress. This may take two years to complete, so please check the works in progress page every so often. There will be new pictures as the months go by. |
